But this pair is unnecessarily bad. Im far-sighted--at can see at a distance but need reading glasses. These binoculars JUST achieved focus at a distance for me with the focus all the out.
The closest item I could focus on was about thirty feet away. It just made things less focused.
Unless you are near-sighted, I would give these a pass. Im keeping mine because I mostly want them for sporting events, where Im far enough away that I can use them. The magnification works wonderfully and the zooming function is user friendly. Aesthetically, they are a pretty sight to look at It feels like a substantial quality item in the hand but not to heavy to hold while viewing a play. It comes with a nice carrying pouch and it fits neatly into a purse. Here they are, compared with my other opera-glasses.

What a wonderful little pair of opera glasses! Fascinating to see them next to the others, how they vary in size and their decoration. I love the blue ones, just stunning. It has struck me how perhaps a lady or gent pulling out a flash pair of opera glasses is no different a status symbol than someone today pulling out the latest smatphone from their pocket or handbag!
